  2. My Mom (who sadly passed in November 2015) Made these Belgium Waffles for years and she always made extra for the freezer. She also added some vanilla and cinnamon to the batter and topped it of with NY Maple Syrup I Love that she is right "there" beside me whenever I make them ?

  3. I really need to memorize this recipe. My son loves them, to the point we are on the 4th batch. <br/>We have tried it with lemon-lime soda for my daughter and it stuck to the waffle iron. But it was a good swap.

  5. Very light, crispy waffles. I did cut the amount of canola oli to 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup seems like a lot of oil as we try to watch our fat intake. DH loves waffles, so I will be making these again.
