Reviews

  1. I cut recipe in half, I used probably 6 to 8 oz of water making the green tea. I found it to be very tasty, was reading other reviews I used non fat vanilla yogurt 3/4 cup I don't know if that was too much. But i enjoyed it.

  2. So I tried out this recipe today with a few modifications and it turned out to taste very watery and bland and just not appetizing. I halved the recipe to make 1 serving yet made enough to serve at least 4 people. I think it might've been the nonfat plain Greek yogurt that I used although I did follow a previous commenter's suggestion of using a plain yogurt then adding vanilla extract. I tried adding an overripe banana into it last minute to try and give it taste, to sweeten it up, but unfortunately it did nothing really...

  3. I made 1/2 the amount serving 2 of us. Used hemp seeds in place of the flax. Loved starting my day with this nutritious drink. Thanks!

  4. I've made and thoroughly enjoyed this several times. :) My only change was to omit the ice cubes and - using fresh berries - to make this the night before. So easy then to grab it in a Tupperware container for a yummy, healthy breakfast on-the-run! Thank you for adding such a delicious smoothie to my list of smoothies made regularly. Made for Zaar Stars Tag.

  5. Great healthy smoothie! My yogurt was frozen so I didn't use the ice cubes. I loved that this was fresh-tasting without being overly sweet. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Tweaks

  1. Healthy and tasty! What a great idea to add the benefits of green tea to a smoothie. I used almond meal instead of whole almonds. My smile was a bit blue when I was done drinking! :-)
