This is so yummy. I did kick it up a bit and used it as a dessert. A scoop of vanilla caramel ice cream melted over the hot gooey French Toast and it really was a show-stopper dessert. It reminded me a bit of bread pudding but much quicker. I will use this recipe again.

This was great! Not too much different from the way my mom taught me to make it. I just never had done the brown sugar thing. I love it!!! Thanks Charmie!!! Made for ZWT# by a Floozie - Remembering Amy!

Different than other French Toast. Easy to do. Except that I wasn't fast by adding water to the brown sugar. So it kind of burned a little bit loll But it was delicious. Maybe I'll add a little bit more water next time. Made for ZWT 3 :)

French toast is my favorite choice treat for breakfast! I used egg whites and added cinnamon and vanilla to the eggs. Thanks for the goodness.

This was reduced to make 2 slices of french toast and worked quite well. I used thick sliced Texas toast bread and egg substitute for the eggs as well as fat free milk. A touch of cinnamon was added to the egg mixture. This was a quick to fix breakfast and most definately a repeat. Served with fresh strawberries and crisp bacon. Thanks Charmie!

I made this for the Photo Swap #6. I really liked this recipe and it was easy to make. The brown sugar part was sorta icky in the making but OH BOY was it ever worth it!! It gave it a good sweet taste and I know this sounds bad but it was really good with syrup on it too. I know ALL of that sugar!!! But hey everyone has to splurge!!! Well I splurged!!! BOY OH BOY was it ever worth it!!! This is a keeper and KUDOS to Charmie777!!!
