    These are the best waffles I've ever made. This recipe was adapted from RecipeZaar but I had to modify because I couldn't find one that I liked.

      Beat eggs and stir in sugar, milk, and vanilla.

      Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture.

      Stir in melted butter.

      Cook in waffle iron according to directions (approx 2 min each).

      These were really good! I too like the fact that you don't have to fold in the eggs. I personally like really buttery waffles, so I added 1 tsp.butter flavoring along with the vanilla. that added to the 5 tbls. of butter really made these super delish. I will be making them again... Thanks so much for sharing!

      I LOVED that I didn't have to fold in eggs. I thought these were wonderful just as is, even without syrup! Even better that it only took 30 minutes. I have a smaller waffle iron and it made enough for my two kids, myself (my dog !) and leftovers to heat tomorrow! Thanks!

      I made these on a hurried Sunday morning. It was quick and yummy! Everyone loved them! This one is a keeper.

      I am adding to my edit: I have made these now several times and everyone loves them!! I have been asked to share the recipe. I love that my family is happy and the compliments I get when the waffles are eaten.
